Overview

Given the size of the parcel at 8 acres and its strategic location across from Northeastern University and the Longwood Medical Area (LMA), the project will feature 400,000 sf of vertically-stacked retail (anchored by BJs Wholesale Club on the second floor), a state-of-the-art movie theater, health club and department store, as well as small stores and restaurants fronting on Tremont Street, 105,000 square feet of office space, 700 rental apartment units in two distinct towers, and a brand new museum for the National Center for Afro America Artists (NCAAA). A 1,400 car parking garage and large public plaza complete with outdoor art, events and public seating will tie all the uses together. Designed by the renowned architecture firm Cambridge Seven Associates, the entire project will be designed in an urban style that will be modern, sophisticated, environmentally-conscious and pedestrian-friendly.
